  1. Thank you so much Tyler....after doing it using your method, it ended up working fine for me. Really appreciate the help!
  2. Are you guys using the patched ezrider2007? I did a complete format of My Flash Disk and copied over the new 3.0 one and it is loading up but giving the infamous "System loading.." message with the maps not working. I had previously done the update of just the Apl folder and had gotten it to work, but after replacing the entire flash disk with the new 3.0...I am getting stuck. Would really appreciate any help or comments on how you guys installed and got it to work. Thanks so much!
  3. Figured out the contact names not showing up on incoming calls. Just use SQLite to remove all the parenthesis and dashes from the numbers.
  4. After restoring my iphone and resetting my Avic it seems not to be freezing up and not transfering the voice into my car as it was doing before. However, when I dial a contact's number it shows it as the dialing the contact with their name. When they call me, no name shows up but just their number. Is there anyway to fix this? It appears that the iPhone saves contact numbers with parenthesis and dashes, while the avic displays incoming calls as strictly numbers...I am not sure if this is contributing.
  5. Thanks for checking into this irkgreen. Please let us know your results. I tried pairing a friend's phone with the F90BT to see if it did the same thing and it seemed to work fine with his phone. I hope it is not an iphone specific issue with the new update. So they fix the blackberry issue..only to mess up the with the iphones..great. I am gonna try restoring my iphone and see if that makes any difference.
  6. I am having this same exact problem. It is driving me up the wall as bluetooth was one of the main reasons I purchased this unit. Please, does anyone know of a cause or possible solution? By the way, I am using a F90BT with the latest updates and using an Iphone 2G. If I call out I don't have any problems. But if I receive a call and hit answer, the call acts as though it is active but no sound can be heard on either end.
  7. Tried this mod on a F90BT running 2.0......after making the adjustment I restarted the Avic and could have sworn I saw a pretty noticeable improvement in performance. However, when I restarted the unit again in test mode to check if the adjustment stuck...it had not and reverted back to the original setting.
  8. kdoll36, Thanks so much for doing this. I was wondering if you could help me a splash I was trying to make. Another member made this nice, clean splash for Porsche (attached). I was trying to do the same thing but just replace the Porsche logo with the Lexus one. However, whenever I tried to remove the white background behind the Lexus logo and transfer it to the Porshe background....the logo would look unclean with white fuzz around it. Is there anyways that you can clean it up? Let me know if you need any clarification. Thanks !!!
  9. Thanks for checking the software bypass guys.
  10. mikeinnj, Great job on your VW splash screen. Is there anyway you could make one similar to that with the Lexus logo and text? Thanks in advance!
  11. Would be nice to know if anyone has tried to see if the software bypass is still working?
  12. Does the software bypass still work with the new update?
  13. Thanks for the information. It seems like people installing aftermarket navs in a Lexus are rare. Do you have any pictures that you can post for us to see how it turned out? I myself am trying to install an F90BT into a 2004 Lexus ES330. I bought the instrument panel direct from Lexus and it is the part they put in their ES330 that had the nav option. I believe it is a double din size so am hoping it will work. About the wiring harness...the only one I could find that is even a possibility is the Metra TYTO-01 . Their tech support assured me it will work with a 2004 Lexus ES330 and is mean
