I have a F500BT as well, but I usually want to keep playing mp3 from sd card. Even if, I'm listening radio (am/fm). It doesn't bother me since it's connected to aux-in on factory bose stereo.

Are you using Testmode version 2.3? If it's older it might not work.

Package from Pioneer website doesn't include any map data.

What did it break? I'm using new version of iGO & 2009.6 map with Diaftia Mod and I didn't see any issues. I could not find WinCE image for F500BT. It would be nice if someone can share it. Thanks,

No, I used to update my F500BT without any issues. It worked out great for me.

I already ordered 99-9500 and it's on its way and I heard that supply on 99-9501B is low (heard it from the store). I wanted to mount it soon. Now I checked with Metra, and it seems that they don't have any supply issue. So, I might end up ordering 99-9501B instead of ADT-VA133 kit. It's cheaper too. Just that I need to find retailer who can ship it to Canada soon. Thanks for the info!

Does ADT-VA133 mounting kit works with U310BT? http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... /ADT-VA133 It doesn't list U310BT as compatibile model, but what's so different about this unit? Isn't most of double-din stereo same? Thanks,

I just installed Diaftia's mod... I like it.. Thank you very much.. I felt the Pioneer default menu was somewhat lacking in information. This is just awesome!!!

I bet you upgraded to wrong WinCE image, or formatted the flash drive and needs application & data files back. Please read the threads in the mod section. You just need to take time to read it carefully.

I guess I have to learn to live with it for now... until someone finds a fix for them.

I used the top compartment to place F500BT unit. It's where OEM navi unit is installed. It took me almost all day to figure out and make the custom mounting kit. And another day to do all the wiring inside to OEM Bose head unit. Overall I'm very satisified with the final result.

One thing I notice, when I view POI detail (address, phone number), I don't have a choice to make a call. Is it normal for F500BT since APL is not updated? Thanks,

I upgraded the map to 2009.06 TA. It has the new road around my home. Overall, I'm happy with the unit.

1. When I was running version 2, I remember that side road name was displayed on 3D view. Now I'm running version 3, I have to zoom in quite a bit (200m) to see the names or tilt it flat then I can see the names at 500m. Is it normal? 2. zoom-in and zoom-out button (up/down key) are way too sensitive. Sometimes, when I click just once, and it zoom-in/out by 3-4. Is there anyway to adjust this?

I would like to know as well. Since most of these NAV unit uses WinCE, I don't think it's possible to add multilingual support. This means you will need to get multilingual WinCE image for the device. Btw, Garmin (new version) has built-in multilingual support. I guess we will see multilingual support on all WinCE image like Vista and W7.

Yeah... I want some better knob for U310BT. It's so small!!!

In Canada, FutureShop and BestBuy had it for $399 + tax. I bought one for my wife's car and currently waiting for the mounting kit to arrive. After the sale, the price jacked up to $699 and $599.
