z2 firmware update from pione the same as the bypass update?
jace93 replied to roadmasterwagon's topic in Hacks/Mods
you should be ok if you did the 2 wire bypass and it wouldnt hurt to do the firmware update as well. It only gets rid of the parking brake error not the 2nd warning. You should not lose your music on a reset. -
yes, they said 1099 on the d3 ad 2200 on the z2

Be careful of the seller and check their feedback. I purchased a z1 8 months ago and never recieved it. Good luck

Yes, my distributor just called me and said they have the holiday bundles as described above. Pricing to me seems to be around $825.00 for the bundle. I am sitting on 6 d3's right now that i must sell before i order the bundles.

In addition does anyone know wwhere to get image label to put on disc east and west
-
wow that sucks I am glad they are taking care of it. I have sent in 10 or more n1's to be fixed and they have 1 they are fixing right now. I have never had a problem with them other than them doing unwanted software upgrades to unit.

I have read all the info in this post and i do have the torrents for both discs but have not yet attempted to do yet. I also purchased east and west copies and they work fine. So then i used alcohol 120 and used copy wizard to copy both discs. Everything went successfully but i have not tried in a unit yet. I looked at both the copy i bought and the copy i made and they appear to be identical. What are the chances that my copy is going to work by doing it the way I did it and or is there someting I am missing. Thanks

try this as a test for the mic to cut off the high frequiences. Move the mic to above your visor. Get a thin fabric like a sock or thin piece of linen. Put it over your mic and try a phone call. This will let me know if the mic is too sensitive also make your music completely mute during calls in the av settings
-
hmmm................is your music completely muted during calls?

back to the update, did you go throught the process then reboot

yes, where is your mic

Are u sure you did the fix right. This fix has cured alot of these issues. Did you turn your speaker volume down under the nav menu?

under AV settings/ then to system settings/ then to guidance box on lower middle
