you did it wrong. Make sure all the contacts are connecting, and make sure you moved the actual pin for the harness to the correct position. Dont just take that wire and connect it to ground without first relocating it.

You can dl the manuals from pioneers website. It requires you make an account with them (fake email will work), but you can get an acrobat version and find your answer.

yes, we should auto delete people who fall for that and fill in that part of the application. I dont think anyone uses ucq anymore. Just AIM, yahoo, and MSN

it WILL NOT be free. Also, I dont think a torrent will work this time, because supposedly (not confirmed) we all have to go to an authorized installer, and have them generate a code for us. It will be 200$ + installer fees

Yes, you only get the warranty if you purchased for an authorized dealer, and dont believe those sellers on ebay that say they are an "authorized reseller" because that doesnt give you a warranty.

damn lucky. In the bay area a 1 story 3bed/2bath goes for 700k. I was hoping to get a 2 story 4bed/3 bath soon, but looks like im going to have to take out a bigger loan or sell my kidney

wasnt this the exact same bypass that was offered on ebay? I think everyone here knows of it, but doesnt want to do it.

I bet you this is going to end up like that one time where we tried to pay for a bypass. I bet that guy that gave us that "hack" was laughing his ass off seeing how many people fell for it.

i dont think its as simple as rebadging. In fact, most cars that have navigations integrate a bunch of other controls for temperature and other things into their navigation. Plus their screens are much bigger than the Z2.

The navigation will still be accurate. You will need the VSS in two scenarios though. - When you have no GPS signal, the gps can still correctly track your mvoement - When you make a stop it will immediately stop the arrow movement as opposed to the usually 2sec delay. -

yes, by default, all av sources are turned off. Even if you attach something for the first time, you have to manually activate the source or it will not work. You can edit that by going into the AV settings.

my friend also bought a refurb D2 off of ebay. It has been working fine for about 6months so far.

If you are looking for touch screen control, then yes the GEX will be the only one that works. Universals are great and inexpensive, but they dont offer that nice OEM fuction that pioneer gives.
