Ya because Pioneer controls CDDB... Just like they control Navteq and Teleatlas you cant update what isn't available.

what do you have it hooked up to? that tv tuner only worked with the AVHP6400cd

It will work, but you have to have the pioneer remote to program it manually. Just use the "learn"function of the Harmony

i would use the PAC instead the soundgate piece was backwards engineered and the PAC was created with Pioneer's help

they are NOT faulty, there is no recall... they are on national backorder because pioneer cant make them fast enough

well the idea i had was that like someone said before the headers of the files might be stripped off. if that is the case the only way that the unit know what the song is, is thru that database. now you mentioned something about the cddb info is in anyother partion that might be the key maybe we are looking in the wrong area for the answers is the image of the drive uploaded yet i ould like to take a lookie

Hey Pulp just curious, does the gracenote data base have anything to do with this? as in if the at3 file is somehow linked to the gracenote file? just my 2 cents i could be way off btw how big is that data base?

the SWIPS goes into the "wired remote" input on the harness not the digital input

the display of your sriuis aslo depends on which tuner you are using SIRPNR1 or SIRPNR2?
