the only time i would ever let best buy do a install on my car is if i just have speakers installed and i am just to lazy to do it myself and ill pay there 69 for set for the install cause i know if they screw something up thats what insurance is for

well basically they knew i was saying take there price and shuve it im sorry but you don't advertise a price and then charge More to install options that come with the Unit itself now i can see if the Mic and the ipod cable where add on options that did not come in the box with the HU and if the VSS wire was not needed to operate correctly then yeah i can see them charging those but the stuff came in the box or needed to be hooked up so there 100 dollar price for install they advertise should have been the price not plus 20 and 20 and 20 more for things that come in the box with the

i have my X930BT and my Iphone4 with ISO5 every other time i my phone syncs with the system the volum on my phone will go all the way down i have to adjust the volum on the phone ipod to get any noise anyone els having this problem ?

Best buy is a rip off i they gave me that same quate 99.99 is there price for advance DVD navi install 60 for steering wheel controls weather they do it at the time the radio is already out or if you come back a month latter there price is always the same on that kidn of sucks i can see 60 since they have to remove the radio but at the same time as they are already have the radio out for the install i think they should nock price to like 35 or 40 but here is the kicker also when you get there you are told 20 to run your Ipod cable 20 to run your BT Mic and 20 for each other ecesory

maybe try to call pioneer and aks them seems like you need the info faster then ones who might know not responding in here

i just put the new iphone software on my phone and also the new pandora update and after using ISO or IOS 5 on my iphone 4 with bluetooth for audio i noticed my volume was down and i couldn't get anyhting to play it seems to be lowering the volume on the ipod iphone itself so if you have this trouuble try just opening the ipod on your phone and chaning the volum on the ipod iphone itself that should get you back to normal volume i think it worked for me

I just updated my iphone and pandora and all is working good at the moment so cool

it may be where you have the mic sitting maybe try to place the mic in a new location try to avoid it bearing near the window and alos try to make sure there is room behind the mic for air to pass threw

Yes i have mine working good i don't know about your car i only know in my car where the vss wire is located and its at the dash cluster for the cadillac i drive i would guess and wonder the 2 places on any car where a vss wire might be is ontop of the tranny somewhere or near or on the Cruis Control Modual somewhere might have to go to a dealer and ask there service department where you Vehicle Speed Sensor is located and tap right into it

ah well thats cool I know i like my warranty i got from best buy because they fix everything if i have a problem i take it in walk in leave it for up to 5 days if they can't fix it they replace it if its something like a password and i ever forget it but i problem they will send it down the road just about 15 minutes away to Electra sound wich is the Pioneer repair facility

Hmm ok let me try another way to explain it yes when i plug it in it always starts at the first song on my play list kind of eritating cause sometime i just plug it in to charge it and then it interrupts what ever im listening to at the moment but ok so when im playing a song and say my play list has 80 songs on it and i am at song 40 If i close out the play list and go to the GPS mode and then latter on go back to the ipod play list it takes me back to the first song it doesn't start to play the first song but i have to scroll all the way threw to song 40 just to see where i am at a

I wonder why in the video showing how the app mode and the x930bt works in the video that i saw somewhere from Pioneer it says you need the 51v i think thats just for app mode or something like that but im not sure

I wish i was still skilled in computer work i would try to get into the PC program on the Firemware and see what i could mess around with there would be alot of things i would like to see if i could ajust and one of them would be shutting the screan off and only being able to turn it back on by the touch of a hard batton not the screan itself

ah ok that kind of sucks the other day there where some smudges on the screan i wanted to wipe them off but i couldn't unless i turn the car off otherwise i would hit opttins on the touch screan even if i turn the screan off the second i touched the cloth to it it came back on

I set the PW to one that i wont ever forget i have used this PW for sevral things over the past 15 years so i don't think ill ever loose it lol

yes you have to have the PAC WRI-P for any of the remotes to work from my understanding
