Pioneer is playin around. They prolly release it nex year instead. What part of the game is this???

I also hope that Pioneer fixes the issues with the arrow movin in the wrong direction and also I hope they fix the problem of th D3 takin long to detect when you are movin from the collectors lane to the express lane on the hwy.

That is true but while I was reading it it says " Upgrade for the DVD Touch Panel Navigation Systems (AVIC-N4, AVIC-D3)" right beside it and when u scroll down it says "Also compatible with (AVIC-N3, AVIC-N2, AVIC-D2, AVIC-N1, AVIC-D1, AVIC-88D, AVIC-80D, AVIC-90D, and AVIC-9DVD) Map data update only." <-------That is posted right under it. So hey we might have a touch screen update for our units. Hopes still alive my friends.

I pray that the reason for this delay is cause they are actually fixin the bugs we all been complainin about. Pioneer needs to listen to people. Our voices should've been heard when we started complaining about this about a year ago. Come on Pioneer don't make me get them Alpines please. Don't make me turn my back to y'all...

Hey wassup y'all??? Well Im from Canada and I have seen this on the Pioneer website in Canada. the AVIC-N5, Are u guys in the U.S. gettin it as well??? And it even has the new 2008 map disks. Hey I was readin the postin from Pioneer when they tellin us to sign up to get notified about the new disks... Now it says "We will be receiving the latest upgrade and map disc (CNDV-80MTP) in July, we will notify you when it is available for sale on the site. Your email address will only be used for this purpose. For more information we invite you to read our privacy policy"... Does that mean we gettin different disks all together??? Or will we get an upgrade package and a map package???

I personally think its kinda lame that Pioneer takes this long to release the update discs. I also think just because Pioneer is promotin their F series, they lackin the support of the previous models. I mean the D3 has lots of bugs and Pioneer hasn't budged to even address them. Just like some one pointed out, in the bluetooth menu, DIALED is spelled DAILLED. LMAO come on FIX IT. Overall the D3 needs new firmware, upgrades and the updated maps. Thats my 2 cents or maybe it was 3 cents

I have heard the same rumor myself. I have heard that some people have gotten a free upgrade when they have registered their units. Not sure how factual it is tho.

My bad, I didn't see it. Good eye tho. Hopefully they dont let us down and actually fix these bugs and add better features.

I went to the website and saw nothin.. I got an email from Pioneer a few weeks ago statin the new disk will be out at the end of august to september. In between that time frame. But when I went to the website I havent seen any indication of the release date.
