I had LSD here in Chicago change color from normal to yellow or red, not in a route. So i'm not sure exactly what the proper way its supposed to work is.

Yes, I get the yellow or red dots with the speed number in them, on top of the road that is colored the same as the dots. I've noticed this only when not in a route, not tried it in a route. the green dots though, they never seem to color the road green, its always blue or black depending on my scheme (running pioneer blue at the moment).

Ive noticed the dots, but only for green. In every case I have seen, yellow and red actually paint the road that color too, whereas green stays with whatever color road and just shows dots. Anyone else notice this?

And only that file? What about the LPUE080DATA and LPUE080PLT html files? And yes, I did the hacked x series update on my F90BT.

What all has to be put back to the old version? Can we get by with just putting the old WINCEIMG files back on (update with format) thus leaving ""My Flash Disk" empty, or do you think its best to copy Flash Disk back as well? Also, it shouldnt be an issue to go back to original 2.0 instead of 2.006 should it (assuming I use the proper testmode files to copy Flash Disk)?

Which ones did you try? There appear to be 2 different building.zip files over on http://gpssoftware.us/ site. One is building.all.zip and the other is under the 2008.10 link, called building.2008.10.zip.

No, it only included the default Landmark files for 29 states, D.C. and Canada. No building files were present. If you look around on this forum there is a link to some external sites that have the files for iGo 8.3.2 (i think thats the version) but I dont know if they will work with our EZRIDER or not. I have not had time to try them. Sorry I dont have the link handy, but search for 3d buildings or something, and I bet it comes up.

I had a similar thread going here, but it was deleted... Did you try installing building files for iGo 8.3? Or did you merely copy the ones used from 2.0 (iGo 8.0)?

Funny you should mention the turn restrictions. I updated to 3.01 Thursday evening and have been adding back some mods. This one I added it into my mod over the weekend and it's very unreliable. No where near the accuracy of the previous map files. I was going down a street in Chicago today that every other street is an opposite no left/no right turn street. The display kept telling no left turn on virtually every street for about a mile stretch. Just comment out the code in the navigatmap800_480 ui file. It should have a reference to turn restrictions in the code. I had the same thing

IDT, Dont worry about the MSN Traffic thing I was mentioning. It was working with the Pioneer scheme's, so my guess is that its just something wrong with the other schemes, not having support for road color shading maybe (other than when in route)? I would say its not an issue at all with your mod.

are these changes in SYS.TXT or pioneer.ini or both? neither of mine had the variable defaulttilt3d, and I want to make sure to add it in the proper place.

IDT, are you going to be adding back the auto-dimming of the top buttons? If so, can you provide hints as to where to comment it out like in the other version (if its location changed)? One thing I noticed, and maybe I dont have it setup correctly, but the traffic flow (MSN) didnt seem to be working. Maybe its scheme dependent? On one road with a Real View scheme, I was encountering these green dots on the road, which I assume should have been coloring the road green completely. I later changed to the default Pioneer scheme, but didnt have the dots as I think the road I was travelling

I havent had much time to mess with this yet, but was thinking about doing it this weekend. One issue I have, my speedo is on the fritz and not working sometimes (reporting wrong speed). So I have been using's IDT's mod which displays my speed. While I know there are no 3.0 mods yet that have the current speed displayed, is the current speed still accessible in the default UI (gps settings?)? As long as I can jump to it to verify speed for a moment, thats all I need, but if that screen has changed/gone away, then I probably better not upgrade to 3.0 yet (with this method or even the legit

Must be, asI just opened up the torrent link and my torrent software started right up. Sounds like your computre is trying to view the actual torrent link file or something strange. Maybe try saving the torrent link and opening it with your utorrent? *edit* and I cant type for crap today, disregard typos please!

If you dont get an answer here, head over to trailvoy.com. There are wiring diagrams there that should help you out. I ran my reverse wire from the rear taillight I think, as I had the interior torn out, and didnt feel like finding it up front. Its probably someplace in the fuse panel under your rear seat (assuming they didnt move that panel between the 04's and 06's).

Like the photo above, I mounted mine with the wire coming up the A pillar, and then mounted it on the sun visor with the supplied clip. works great. only issue is when I put the visor down, but for me, thats about 5-10 times a year it seems, so no big deal.

i just tried it and it's working ok, check it again and if it still won't let you then i'll post it somewhere else Oh, now its working.

Cant seem to download the MSN version. Gets to 12% completion then hangs.. Anyone else had success?

Maybe I missed it, but what are the hardware differences? I can deal with my F being slower and whatnot, but is there anything in the X series that makes they a 'must have' hardware upgrade? Were there any comments about how these new units (or 3.0 software) would (if at all) change how things like the HD tuner works (and its shortcomings being fixed) or whether the folks at Pioneer knew (cared) about the mods being done currently to the F series?
