Thanks, that was the answer I thought it would be. The bezel would need to be replaced from the factory one. Trying to get an 08' Suburban at a good price as nobody wants the big SUV's anymore. Problem is I have an 03' trying to trade, dealers don't want to give you much for them on trade. Catch 22.

Actually if a company has a (MAP) Minimum Advertised Price policy & a retailer violates the policy, a company can choose not to supply that company with stock. I'm a retailer for several companies that have that policy in effect and I try to adhere to the policy. You'll see some examples of a-holes on eBay where retailers try to violate the MAP. The thing that sucks is it takes sales away from the retailers who honor the companies policy. I suspect if sales are booming for the F series, the prices will stay high for a while.

It's a bummer Pioneer didn't go with a 7" screen for the F-90BT. Seems like a sweet unit but the downsize to 5.8" . Really only loosing 5/8" on the diagonals. I have a 03' surburban. I think you just saved me a lot of time hunting down wires. Thanks so much for the useful post and all your efforts. Love this forum and I don't have a Z1 yet. Soon though for a road trip planned this winter to Mass.

What will the Pioneer CD-SR1 control on the Z1? Will all functions work as if you were using them on the touch screen? Can you switch between Nav & DVD on the fly? If a cop is coming up from the rear, can you quickly swithc DVD to Nav? Also I hate seeing fingerprints on a LCD display. Thanks

thanks murzik. Kind of sucks there is no trip counter. It is cool to have that feature. I bring my Garmin Ique3600 sailing & it keeps a trip log and leaves breadcrumbs where I've been in the sound. It is cool that it is made for roads, but also shows accuratly over water. We have a new bridge here not on maps yet, so when you drive on new bridge, it shows your driving over water. I wonder in the Pioneer has that new bridge. It is like 5-6 miles long. Does anyone show a picture of the antenna on the web? I've only see pictures of the head unit. Anyone have pics of it? Hope someone can answer a few simple questions. 1. Can/does the have a trip counter? Such as the Garmin iq3600. It will give me total miles traveled, average speed, total stopped time, max speed, ect, ect on a given from: to: destination. 2. Where do most of you guys have the GPS antenna moounted. How does it fasten? Adhesive? screw down?? Cable long enough to route to rooftop in 03' Surburban? OK a few more than a couple of questions, but I keep the planning in my head and getting ready for an eventual install. Thanks guys, gals

Sort of off topic, but will the Z1 work w/ another type of portable MP3 player? Does the Ipod adaptor only fit Ipods? Obviously I don't have an Ipod yet, but would like to consider other brands of MP3 players. I guess what I'm saying; I would think the software in the Z1 only allows the interface for Ipod.

Excuse me if this has been mentioned in thread although I did not see it. If you use a American Express card or most Mastercards to purchase, they usually double the Manufactorers warranty. If you read the credit card detail sheet, you will see the policy on it.

Do they still make you call them once you receive their email? They tried to upsell when I bought a 50" plasma. Gave me such a hard time, I told the guy to cancel the order. They lost a huge sale over the bait & switch BS.
