  7. Samething happen to me. You will need to hang up with her and call back. Once I did this I received the promotion. Well actually when I called back i didnt give her the code # but I told her that I had a code that was suppose to give me a yr of XM for $77 and I just added NAVtraffic. all in all it came up to 124.88 for both for the year.

  9. I want to change how the phone rings when I have it connected to the Z2. If their a file on the hard drive that can be replaced?
  10. I had the same issue than it started freezing on startup. You will need to install the Pioneer firmware update. that was just released this past weekend.

  12. I did the firmware update on Sunday after receiving the email b/c I was in the process of sending them back my unit for possible hard drive replacement. Since I've done the firmware update I havent had any issues ( knock on wood). The unit actually seems to boot a little faster. I also have the bypass done and it hasnt affected this at all.

  14. I called and used the promotion code zwinback and the other codes mention above and they wouldnt take them. I hung up and called right back. I didnt mention any codes and I got Nav traffic and XM radio for $124.88 for a year.
  15. ok fellas b4 I got a chance to send my Z2 out to Pioneer for repair the sent me an email with a firmware update for prevent lockup and freezing of the Z2.   20. Than why does it say this at Crutchfield Wiring Note Power Wiring: If the unit is connected with an IP-Bus cable, it is not necessary to connect the red (+12 volts switched) power lead. The receiver may not work properly if the IP-Bus cable and the red power lead are used together. The Installation Manual incorrectly states that both leads should be connected. A manual correction sheet is provided.
  21. Im thinking about buying the GEX-P10XMT for Nav Traffic but I have a question about installation. If I purchase this item and use it with my Z2 can I just use the IP bus cable for it to work and that's it or will I have to use the power (12v) cable also?
  22. I just check the CDRB20 out, its only $75, thats not expensive. I someone doesnt mind can you please give me a small step by step instruction on how to do this with the cdrb20. If the CDRB20 makes it a easier install than Im down for it. I just saw something on the CRBD20. It has a power and gnd wire. As of right now I have enough power and ground electronics coming off of these factory wires. I dont want to overload something. Can someone explain the other way for me. Maybe someone on here knows which wires are the factory ford aux wires (color wise anyway) that I can connect to the back of t
  23. What's to expensive. I want to be able to just plug my mp3 player in a the top. I want a clean look with no wires hanging.
