Well 30 gigs was fine for me, i mosly want to play videoes on my avic-d3. i had a 4 gig at first and that was not enouph to start down laoding videos and movies.

ok i`m not gonna go with ebay then i just ordered a 30 gig off from apples referb. site for $199.00 5th generation so i should not have any problems with the video out feature right????

and how can i tell if someone i can buy from is safe .

and was it 5.5 or just 5 generation and does the video out work on it caue it does not work at all on my new ipod? i think i`m taking mines back and get my money back.

That sounds like that may be a memo, if it is it`s normal, to stop it go into functions and delete any memo`s u may have in there and it should stop.

If if hook up a the proper dock or a/v cable to the ipod nano 4 gig it will be able to out put video or does it have to be hooked into a tv or car stereo ect. to work?

Ok i have read on here about the new ipods not being able to play video on external sources, witch of the older ones shold i get or look for to play video on external souces???

oh well i can still play dvd on my d-3, i really only want to hear music from my ipod anyways.

I just did a succsessful avic d 3 bypass and so for no problem, i only spend like 2 buck for the wire taps, i went to some different audio shops yesterday and some of the prices were like $150.00 CRAZY FUCKS! I`M ONE HAPPY CAMPER THANKS TO SOME OF YOU GUYS I WAS ABLE TO DO THE BYPASS MYSELF THANKS GUYS.

I went to get my by pass done today and when the guy was done i could watch a dvdwith the car in drive but when i pushed on the gas and picked up speed the warning massege about not viewing dvd in motion came on as well as an improper parking brake connection or somthing came up on the scree, it seems like the avic d 3 is picking up the speed pulse and not letting me watch a dvd, i dont want to disconnet the speed wire because it affects the navigational systems accuracy. what could they have done wrong or not done at all???

Can some one tell me the correct way to do a bypass to watch dvd and have full nav control on my d-3??? witch wire/s to connect or disconnet?????

What exactly is the d-3 learning when it comes to navigation?

yes u can dim them, go into av menu, settings , v adjust also u can get the illumination wires hooked up and they should dim when ur auto head lights come on if u have auto head lights.
