  1. Maybe we could use something like http://www.filedropper.com to host the pieces. It runs pretty damn fast.
  2. I helped host it last time and the demand was huge. I am trying to think of other possible alternatives.
  3. Can't wait to see the new image hosted somewhere.
  4. I did that a while back and it worked great.
  5. Mr. Womo that would all depend on if the logos were worth 250 bucks to you. From what I have seen, the "map updates" are much to be desired. It may be in the map updates and it may not be who knows. If you've dealt with Pioneer long enough you know not to trust them.
  6. Can you make sure to put them in the XM section here so other people will see them there? It affects all Pioneer Series radios. Z, D N and now F....
  7. Could be an issue with the XM updates that happened overnight....
  8. I placed a post in the XM section here about this very thing...It affects more than D Series people.
  9. Anyone working on new logos to fix what XM has done to us? If you don't already know, XM changed the names of many of the channels and now whe get the standard Satelite logo instead of the channel logo. So if anyone is working on it, I won't start it for myself. No need duplicating someone else's effort you know. Also, some of you DVD, CD users (N1-3, D1-3) etc. Are you also working on a fix disk? If so, can you post your new logos here?
  10. Yeah I noticed this too when they changed the names of the channels and such. For some reason my presets wouldn't work but I was able to tune to them via the track button. I then resaved the preset and all is good now. Now I just need to make some new logos for the renamed channels.
  11. It cuts out cause that is just the way digital TV is. You get it or you don't. Everything blocks the signal. Trees, people, buildings etc. That is why you can't find any mobile ones yet. I think in car TV is a dead issue now. I think the next step will be a carputer with a wireless 3g card and streaming video over the net.
  12. The Pioneer tuner kicks ass when it comes to analog TV. It doesn't come close to anything else. I wish that someone made a good mobile DTV/HDTV tuner. For now, my unit works fine for me. I usually need it for when it is raining and I don't want to get out my wheelchair in a downpour. I can see the radar on the alt DTV channels which is real nice. As for my antenna, I just made my own "Y" out of a car antenna extention cable and soldered it to a coax cable. I didn't want to mount an antenna somewhere on my glass or externally since I know it is a temporary fix. Besides who wants to
  13. I made a video so that you can see what goes one when driving so that you can understand the difference in the Analog tuner versus a Digital tuner. I have a RCA DTA800 tuner. Once you remove the power supply from it, you can solder some power leads to the board. The OEM power supply output is 12VDC. I have it running on my nav screen. The picture is kick ass but only when you are stopped where you can get good reception. Buildings and bridges interfere with the signal. Here is my video in motion. When you see the message bars come up, that means that you are not getting the channel wel
  14. I've seen some stupid $hit in my life and yours is up there. lol
  15. I personally think that it is a registry setting like the legalcaption on windows machines. I have been looking at a way to find the files on the drive but I haven't had luck yet.
  16. Thanks a lot...btw, the mega upload is fast as hell. I am getting 600kb/sec. I did the premium membership for one month. Well worth it.
  17. Not too many places in the US that still have drive in movie theaters. I wish there was though. Then I could listen to it in my tuning preferences and as loud as I want it to be.
  18. Yes it is really that simple but some people are not doing the complete Z3 update as far as updating all of the files. They are just moving the map portions. So it all depends on who you get it from. It is best to have an actual image copy of the HDD.
  19. He could put in a capacitor to help get rid of the dimming on hits as well.
  20. No reset needed, just swap and go...the unit with say updating and bam, you are good to go.
  21. They may make an update to the Z1/Z2s to accomodate the new functionality...who knows.
  22. You need to have the remote wire for the power antenna connected in order to get it to work properly. It has an amp for the antenna..without power to it, you won't get the FM stations properly.
  23. So you are telling me that you can make a DATA disk, not a Music CD and it will record the ATRAC3 to the Z2's HDD? If that is the case, loading files would be a hell of a lot easier. Has anyone else done this and had success?
