I can recommend do net restore whole z2 image, but first two partitions into your old z1 drive. This will allow you to keep all your music and user settings.

Before you put drive into Z1, you must disable ATA security using MHDD. Otherwise drive will be locked buy Z1.

Only Toshiba hard drives work fine; all other brands will give you different type of problems. I have tested WD, IBM, Seagate, only Toshiba works no problem.

Are you talking about windows XP explorer.exe? If so, then there is no way it will work. You may want to try some of windows CE applications.

Try to compare files in those folders between older and never images at least by file size.

Did you try to swap whole prg0 folder?

AVIC-HD3BT it's Z1 made for russian market. It is not available for US market. I am sure the difference only is software on the HDD.

See if nav.exe is same file in each image (file size, check sum), if it is not same file, then I would assume that everything is encoded in nav. exe file. And don't worry about flash memory, it must contain OS only.

It looks to me like Pioneer CDDB is not complete or some sort different then original database. Because I have some CD’s, not new, that I can easily find in online version of Gracenote, but not exists in Pioneer.

See if number on the screen exactly matches number in Z1 phonebook. If this is GSM number you may need to add + before 1.

It does not have a trip computer. Antena you can mount under dash and it's magnetic.

As far as I know you can't remove factory stereo from avalone. If you do so you will lose all info on factory LCD.

I have problem saving phone book. I wanted to edit number in phone book and it’s appears all changes in phone book only lasts until I turnoff car however if I set edit number as favorite, after I turn car off I have right number in favorites and number in phone book as it was before editing. Any one have similar problem?

Changing speed settings affects only ETA and makes no difference for routing itself.
