  1. I don't know if it will work, but you can find 746_32K_MN-000_24b.bmp in data.zip ui_pioneer 800_480
  2. I had that happen a handful of times the last 6 months, and it always went away with a quick reconnect. No such luck with this damned "iPod connection failed" mssg b/s
  3. Got the dread "iPod connection failed" mssg today. I've been running my f90bt since august with very little trouble. Now I can't play from my iPhone 3g for more than 2 mins begfore it drops out. Resetting the unit helped once, and now I've got nothing. Very irritating.
  4. If you were using the software mod you need to reapply it.
  5. I haven't upgraded to 2.0 because I've never had an issue with my F90BT. And I have no intentions of doing so. If ain't broke, then don't try to fix it.
  6. how about making the unit a little more ergonomically friendly by putting the on screen controls on the left side. I hate having to reach across the screen to control my cd/ipod/radio station. Maybe not such a big deal in a smaller car, but I drive a behemoth.
  7. The system boots up to the screen you were veiwing when you shut it down. So if you don't want to boot up to the map switch your screen to the AV source you're listening to before you shut off the vehicle.
  8. Audacity should be able to handle that. The ability to export to an MP3 after editing is an add-on, but it's free.
  9. I'm using the cable that came with my F90BT (one of the perks of buying the premier unit) and it charges my 3G just fine. It's not quite as fast as the the wall charger, but it's faster than charging off USB from the PC.
  10. Your problem isn't that you have the antenna mounted under the dash, it's because you don't have it far enough forward. Get it as close to the windshield as possible. Your dash is made of plastic and/or foam it's not going to interfere with GPS signal. But if you have it too far back the signal can be blocked by the roof depending on your orientation to the satellite. Mines been under the dash of my Magnum since day 1 w/o any issues. Just move it forward. Oh, and mine is mounted with Velcro to a plastic heating duct.
  11. Moonstreaker, I'm sure you mean "hook the blue wire to the red power lead" correct? In the Pioneer instructions regarding the blue wire it states: If he vehicle has a glass antenna, connect to the antenna booster power control termnal (max. 300 mA 12 V DC). Before my following comments I want to reiterate that I'm totally new to this stuff and I'm sure I'm over thinking it and making it more complicated than it is so, forgive my ignorant questions. The Metra harness has a blue wire too so, do I tie them together and connect them to the power lead or just one? If just one which on
  12. I'm sure It's probably written somewhere and I just missed it...but which file is that? I hate the stock screen screen.
  13. You won't find this in the instructions for the Metra Harness. There is no antenna booster on the harness, so you will need to hook the blue antenna wire from the red power lead. The antenna built into the rear glass require juice to function properly. If you don't the regular AM/FM will be fine, but you will have problems with the digital portion of the HD radio dropping out. Which is quite annoying, because the volume goes down when you loose digital and then pops back up to the normal level when you regain the signal. If your Nitro has a factory amp (and you are using it) the Metra ha
  14. I was cruising on the highway both times it happened to me, no bumps involved. But your post made me think. Maybe the iPod disconnect problem that plaques a lot of people isn't just an iPod issue, maybe it's an issue with all external A/V sources?
  15. Like the title says, my HU is staying on but the radio itself is shutting down all on it's own. So far it has happened twice. Once while I was on the Map (sounds stopped and I noticed the little icon in the bottom right corner now read "off") and once while I had the HD radio screen up. Was able to go right to menu both times and select HD radio and have it turn right back on. When it happened on Sunday I wasn't that concerned about it, but since it happened again today I'm concerned this may turn into a constantly reoccurring problem. Has Anyone else had this issue?
