Just comment it out in the sys.txt. The unit will then display what is defined in the current enabled scheme. If there is not one defined in the scheme the unit will display the default arrow.

Hube2002 - VBLUES method is executed in the data.zip. What I posted is an entry to the sys.txt file located in the apl2 folder. I never saw a diamond on my unit with the sys.txt entry listed above.

F series - hacks forum. Notice the date and time of the last one on the list and FAQ is about 2/3rds down. I tried re-doing my preferences to no avail.

Check your sys.txt file for this code in the [3d] section: show_guidance_strip=1 guidancestrip_stretch=32 If it's there, comment it out. If you don't have it the sys.txt, check the scheme in the color.ini file for the same code and comment it out.

With this code, do the icons still crowd causing some to not show? What I noticed is that the one closest to you shows first followed by the next and so on. I don't show a bunch of POI's, mainly my banks ATM's and Shell gas stations, so it may be different for others.

When accessing a page the sort order is all messed up. Some new posts are listed at the top of the page and others post towards the center of the page. Also the FAQ is no longer at the top of the page, it's working its way down.

Or you can add to the sys.txt file: [poi] use_multi_poi_icon=0

Nice! I didnt know that. I will add in the Navteq POI's and see what I get. Thanks Boris. You can also mix Navteq and Teleatlas maps in the same folder. Unlike the POI files you can't have two of the same state in the map folder. Same goes with map versions, mix and match until you have all the states.

With the standard hacked ezrider using gps.elevation as the text model, the elevation will display in feet up to 5279 feet. It then switches to 1 mile XXX ft. Any text model using altitude the unit will display feet up to 879 then it will switch to tenths of miles, ie 0.2, and so forth.

Sorry to hear that. I appreciate all that you have done to get stanislovovich's zip converted to 3.0. If it wasn't for you two, I probably would of quite many months ago. As you can see from many zips that are on this forum, you guys have really opened up the possibilities of the unit. My zip is based on yours and so are many others out there. That part of the avic is handled outside of IGO. We don't know of the shortcut (code) to access that other than how the unit came: press and hold the map button for a second.

Download and extract the digital font on page 40 and install it in apl2/igo folder. Should take care of re-boot issues.

Yep, tried that already through a different process (this is w/ Diaftia's 10/10 release). I used a mod I made to Diaftia's Settings->Navi Settings->Run menu to launch Explorer without needing to boot into test mode. Brought up the Date/Time control panel, there was no time zone selected (drop-down was blank) and the time was an hour ahead of what it should be. Fixed the timezone to Pacific time which automatically set the clock correctly in the taskbar and in the APL\ apps (AV.exe, etc) when I hit Apply. I have to manually select my timezone in iGo already (I've got the "Oregon means

Regarding the times not matching the IGO screens as opposed to the AV (win ce) screens, try booting in safe mode, go to control panel and change the time zone there. See what happens. I seem to recall something similar about a year ago with other users.

Try this one. All I did was copy the code from the first page and change the x and y values a little. The bmp should be on the right side about a third of the way up from the bottom. Take the ui_pioneer folder out of the zip and drop in the apl2 folder. The same place the data.zip goes in. Boot the unit from the IGO exe and see if it boots normally. If it does you can add it to data.zip, If not, report what error you're getting. Good Luck. ui_pioneer.zip

I made one and attached it here. Basically it's just the cutout from Alex's quicklaunch button. It's a little blurry, but I don't have a decent camera to make a better one. 3) in navigatemap800_480 file you need to add the action to split screen. I put mine in NavigatMapButtons section.
