Many have gone wrong in the bypass. You will get no help from Pioneer in bypassing the safety... Use the search pull down and start plugging away!

You need to go after one problem at a time for starts... Be patient!

Why not use a blank black piece of plastic with a fold to cover it when you need it. Like off a loose leaf binder. Just keep it for when you go to those bad areas and hang it off the top slot and let it drape down...from the fold.

Agreed that you should use a interface and not cut into GM harness. This would negate portability and going back not to mention losing onstar. Try the elcova hummer forum link for some install help with other hummer users...

This solution is working for me. Suspend a medium milk bone from your mirror. When the puppy lunges and hits the OK button problem gone!
