thats not true. most double din radios dont come with brackets anyway. most of the time you dont need them. so if they didnt get used in the original install, then the guy wouldnt have them now

yes the d2 came with brackets and a cage. yes you can mount it without them using the proper metra dash kit

the blue/white is the amp turn on lead. the rca's are going to depend on what type of amp you have. if its just a sub amp, then you only need the sub out rca's. the other two sets are for front and rear if you have a multi channel amp

i came across an eclipse avn 5435 today from a customer who bought the truck used and it had the unit in it already. the screen says insert disc even though the nav disc is in already. im thinking the previous owner loaded a cd for the esn feature. does anyone know if there is a way to reset this?

its not gonna work. that car is a motherfucker. the rear screen works through some weird loop through that bullshit console vcr. your best bet is to just buy a cheap aftermarket screen

that wire is a remote turn on for an amplifier. you dont need it for steering wheel controls. get the pac-swips. it plugs right in and has minimal wiring

if you dont have a factory sub, you wont get the pop
