there will probably be a 2013 map update for z110-140 and x920-940, however it remains to be seen if there will be any UI updates to make it similar to z150/x950. The map update will probably come in August or September timeframe given Pioneer's update release history. Ok, looks like this platform (x50) is no longer ARM but SH-X? cpu!!! This probably means no custom apps unless u can find them built for SH4 - sorry Sanik! Anyhow, with Remaker i was able to get a better dump of the files.

Without a doubt B+ (the yellow wire) is the main current carrying wire, but this is only up to a point, as you have seen due to the radio fuse not being more than about 10A typically on vehicles. Acc/ignition is just a turn-on signal. While it can be used at a lower current application, it is not typically meant for higher loads. If you need to pull more than this, like for an amp, etc, then you are correct. You will either need to tap into your fuse box to an empty/spare port and pull less than 20A, or wire something directly to battery. Regardless, it should be appropriately sized wiring

why dont you post the serial number here, and alos on the stolen avics section in case somebody does see it on craigslist or ebay or something, and they do a search for the serial number, it will get a hit as stolen

there is no VR stuff on new pioneers. You can still hold down the home button on iphone to trigger siri/voice commands which work via Bluetooth speakerphone. How I wish the button was still there on the unit and via remote control that actually triggered the voice control function of the paired BT phone.

mercman, you just need the official NZ version of this update, use the VERINFO.DAT i supplied for 2012 update, and edit the cardinfo.cif file to make the unit recognize the update. In order to know what to edit in the cardinfo.cif, you will need to provide the NZ 2012 cardinfo.cif, so I can tell what it's looking for, and then figure out which exact model number you have, and let you know which text to replace to get it working. Step 1. Go get the official 2012 NZ update. Step 2. open a NEW thread for 2012 NZ (not AU) update step 3. post copy of cardinfo.cif from this update, a

drpepper, looks like you have wrong testmode for this model/series. Testmode for this does not involve a folder, but a single file on SD card called TESTMODE.KEY. Search around the forums for testmode.key. If you need to do copying of files, use my super testmode.key

darkzide, are you in canada? that can version is for canbus, not canada. If you dont have an oem installed radio (like subaru or volkswagen) then you wont have a version for that. Try a reset and resetup.

Your unit is already running this software. It is same as f940bt and already has 2012 update. If you dont have it, pioneer site has 4.01 update for 40-series

Hi Neil, Not an accusation, but wondering did you adjust any settings in testmode? Does it exhibit any other behaviors?
