It sounds like you are not correctly uploading the full memory to your Unit. Make sure you once in testmode you copy a full version of the SDMLC that is in the link. It sounds like you are just loading a copy of your old backup or something. Make sure you upload them in the correct sequence to your unit. Follow the directions properly. Glad to see this is till helping people! You can do a complete reformat in the service mode. That's how I assume my unit got in that state in the first place...

the path choice option screen is amazing... I always wanted to see all three on there at once so I could choose which one makes more sense with out changing it a few times!

It would just be cool to shrink them a bit... I feel like they take up my whole map screen sometimes, iving in a metro area and being on the highway a lot I can see how some people get annoyed with it. It doesnt bother me but it would be nice if they were a bit smaller maybe by like 25% smaller then they are now.

Hmmm what if it was a two touch dial home? If I could figure out how to do the dial home thing I could put it in one of the expandable menus. Then you could just remove all the hide features of the menu itself and then just expand and then touch dial home when you need it. Part of what makes this mod so cool is that the screen is so clean and free of "stuff". Yeah I had been trying to add it in instead of the MSN drop set cause I have a 700 but I cant figure out the code for call home... If you can find the code Ill add it in and you would be the man!

Do you people read other problems like this and follow the instructions to fix them fully?? I would say 95% of the problems have been covered on here with instructions on how to fix them... Do some reading and trial and error. And ones again I am gonna reiterate what I wrote up above.. Go to the HACKS for F series board. Read the How to put 3.0 on your system thread. Clearly follow all those exact directions with all the downloads it instructs you to do on the first page page of the thread and most likely not only will you solve all of your problems but you will have a completely new u

honestly just fully follow the 3.0 steps and chances are you will have an up and running unit with 3.0 on it which is 100% better.

guess take deep breaths, these units are not that hard to fix... read through posts many people have posted their backups. As I am in the US and dont have Euro version I cant help here, but do what the rest of us do when we have issues and search through the forum and find an thread with your back up in it. remember that ZIPs and RARs are just packaging you need to open them to get the content that you need to fix your avic!

oh jeez... ok you need to UNzip the RAR files... download 7zip (google it). Open zip click on the first .rar file and it should unzip the whole package. .rar files are like "bags" they hold the contents of the files you need once you run 7zip it will dump all the pieces out and put it together into 1 package that you need. That package should have several folders (apl, apl2, apl3, userdata, ect. plus several other route files) all those files need to be put on a card after you unzip them with test mode. Then copy and paste everything but testmode into your flash drive.

dafia good work... I had been away for the week and just got home like the addition of the speed cams... Its nice that everyone makes compilations and no feelings are hurt!

You need to google for it... ie Spain Speedcam Spud file or something of that sort. Put it on a fresh SD card with testmode go into test mode. Go into myflashdisk, apl2, igo, content, speedcams and paste it in there

No just copy and paste and when it asks you say Yes replace all... then restart your car.

Go back in with test mode... Copy the whole x910 and put it on there let it run... dont touch anything after that. See if it loads up.

On the map it tells you what exit number to take... the system speach isnt that great, it is generic it tells you when about to turn the GPS can be a bit off... look at the map and read what EXIT it tells you to take

READ THE DIRECTIONS CLEARLY AND FOLLOW THEM!! At what point does the unit reboot? make sure you are entering service mode correctly and it wont reboot. Hold all 4 buttons for (eject, reset, map,menu) let go of the reset button and listen for your speakers to make a pop sound then let go of eject and keep holding other two.

Do not modify a data.zip with a mac it will just keep your system stuck in startup... Go to Keepers Mod plus Safety Cam scroll down the first page look for my post about the 4 in one mod download that and then place all the unzipped files right into your SD card and testmode version 2.3 Read the directions located inside the zip and do as it says and you will have everything you need. This will give you speed cams and option to easily turnoff voice guidance. If you turn down the volume on voice guidance all the way to off in settings though that should not create a blank sound where
