LOLOL just make sure they solder every connection!! this is the end of remote start "season" so most any installer who worked though christmas should be pretty "practiced" on the installs

you can tap onto the reverse input wire of the avic with whatever signal your reverse lights give off (-/+) with a switch then use diodes to separate them so that when you flip your switch to use while in motion, your car wont turn on its reverse lights. only the avic thinks its in reverse

i think thats a good idea fish. purchase the "cheap" package then sell the parts off! lol i know a couple shops here in town doing that. like i said ill do a in-depth review fer ya but i cant really give you a time or date..... hope ur not in a rush!

EHHH about the money i dont know if this is for everyone. but ill trade my buddy trucks again soon so i can put the bluetooth on it and ill do an in depth "review". considering pioneer themselves havnt taken the time to show us all what it can do. ill take some pics with my dig cam and if it shows well enough then ill make a nice step by step. are you gonna use it for towing? or backin up?

ive had a 20pa for about 2 months now and finally installed it into my buddys megacab. freaking awesome. mount it anywhere (even off center) and it will back you up into a parking space straight. press the button on the wired remote and it switches to a top down view. it does it all through a digital dsp, its incredible, the top down view looks like you hung the camera off your tailgate about 3 feet away from your vehicle... once you get it all installed you have to set it up for the mounting location and the angle of the camera. i recomend not mounting the button untill your done prog

reset all your learning status, milage, and speed pulse data. im guessing you guys dont have it hooked up but resetting all the info should point ya in the right direction

OK DUDE i believe u said u have a 4 channel amp. what brand/ power rating? how did you hook it up? did you run speaker wire to all the speakers or did you just run them all up to the deck. if you turn your gain all the way down does the noise still exist?

i would guess a speaker lead is grounded out. that or a speaker just self destructed and fused teh coil. are they stock speakers or aftermarket?

sooo ur an installer super????? or even an avic owner???? and u stop your car any time you want to add navigation info huh??? if the answer to any of these questions is yes then u are a tool

plus they have it soooo easy. a typical "ballin" customer will drop off a car and leave it as long as he needs it. notice all the cars just sitting around the shop? those arent wills cars.

the bypass will show you whos "cool" and whos a "douche" if someone bypasses ur unit without you even knowing then they are the coolest person of all. because they didnt want u to not be able to use your navigation unit that u paid good muny for while ur driving. which by the way is MOST OF THE TIME UR IN UR VEHICLE!!!

uggg this is pioneer for ya!!!! sure well "upgrade" the flex cable for free just ship it to us!!! then when they get ur unit its always something else and its not free plus its 75 dollars to get your unit back!!! pretty sweet deal huh. i think its like getting ur oil changed for free and them bringing the air filter back with dirt all over it and telling you that you must buy a new one

he didnt do the bypass. he grounded the e-brake wire. tell him to read up on the new shi, and even to test stuff he does! lol j/k simply print out one of the many many many write ups with pics from our exclusive avic-d3 forum that details how to bypass an avic-d3 and take it back to him. or never call him again either way

ummm if thats really the problem then pioneer will fix it for free. however if its not hte problem the they will charge u 75 bucks for a check out fee and then whatever it takes to fix it. go to pioneerelectronics.com and look on the front page.. (there website has been down for a couple days. hopefully there adding 2008 equipment)
