  6. well, honestly, for maybe 45$, which is about how much a big box store will charge, i wouldnt do it for that, even if it does take not much more then an hour. I mean serously, if its so easy then the owner can do it. thats probably why many places going to charge like 200$ for the install. Not to mention if i where you id expect some sort of warranty... just keep in mind the old saying, you get what you pay for. might just want to do it with someone elses help or yourself

  10. i think cntrylvr is on track, with newer headunits theres a built in protection, if the wiring grounds out or touches each other it will shut audio down. maybe being cold, maybe humidity, maybe maybe... you can often check by testing the speakerwires when they are NOT connected to the head unit.

    HELP PLZ!!

correct wire? what car ? you might get away if you buy at big retailer that doesnt track serial number, but shaddy thing would be to just return the bad one in its place then, no use going through the headache of sending to pioneer, just tell retailer its defective and youve lost confidence in the product if its bad out of the box
  13. well i would install everything if it was me. theres a forum www.nasioc.com thats subaru related, its huge! you can locate the necessary wiring there. parking break is behind the dash just to the right of the glove box just underneath. you might consider unplugging the day time running lights too since the lights are hid and excessive abuse by being on like that will drastically lower the life of the hid system. you can simply unplug the relay that the parking break wire goes to, which is where i mentioned earlier. The ecu needs to be removed from the floor so you can see the plugs and ge
  14. should be easy enough to do. The ecu is under the pass. side floor board where you put your feet. and has pretty much all the additional wiring there.. even the reverse light can be found not to far away in the kick panel. get the standard harness from circuit city/best buy. if you can solder i would suggest doing that, if not butt connectors or similar are fine. you can put the gps ant. inside the vehilce just in the center of dash under windshield, it will function properly. Caution on some things, take your time when doing it use cloth to protect exposed dash pieces so they dont get sc

    HELP PLZ!!

not going to happen, pioneer already knows where your unit was sold anyways. and i doubt anyone that has had the sense to buy from a legit retailer (to get the warranty) would risk loosing their warranty by giving it to you. Reading over your problem briefly, i could be wrong and have known to be in the past but it might be normal.. might need some time to set up.
  16. I was going to msg, a big FU for the childish crying done. Though I looked at the number of posts and see upwards of 300. Which baffles me even more that your crying so much about other people requesting help for bandwidth costs. Surely 300 posts would be enough for you to know where to posts and how to label the subject line. You can take this as a flame or not, because none of what I have said is untrue. As a site owner/webhost youd also think you know where to get graphics done, or how to hold a raffle/contest for your customers to offer services and products for a logo. But instead yo
  17. dont worry about this thread much longer, just private msg jasonh.. he is the only one to make that call. no need to keep posting here.
