skoos
I can confirm that I just installed it in a 2006 Audi A4 and it works regardless of how fast you are going. Are you planning to use the steering wheel controls? I'm interested in that for the same vehicle. Is the bypass workable on the F90bt as well?
rdkl
This does not work on the f90bt As soon as you start going more than 10mph it kicks up the warning about video and the nav buttons vanish. They come back every time you come to a stop though. Frustrating

rdkl
Scratch that. I am lame and I suck I went and checked again because I couldn't accept it not working. I didn't get the white plug back into the radio fully. All good and bypassed now! Making progress. Now just need a firmware update and I will be happy. The bypass does work on the F90bt. I will be doing the one in my wife's car shortly.
TODJA77
Anyone know if I can bypass before I take it to my local car audio installer (do it myself)? I dont wanna have to bypass it after they already have it installed.
installermarc
I can tell you this bypass works on the F900, so go get um!
rdkl
You can do the bypass ahead of time. Just prewire it and tell the shop to leave that part as is. I just did this on my wife's car and it works fine so both of our F90bt are bypassed.
chrisbulla
now keep your eyes on the road all... the only complaints I have about this unit so far: 1- if you try to use the nav while listening to music on a USB thumb drive the audio cuts out. works fine with CD/FM/SD/IPOD with no problems 2- when making a phone call the display automatically switches to the Map display (not sure why it would do this) 3- audio from bluetooth is terrible on the other end (the person you called) even though they sound fine in the car (probably the shitty pioneer mic, although previous BT units sounded fine?) totalauto
Way to go Chris! Kudos! Tried the bypass by inserting ground on 4th pin between two black wires and grounded the parking brake wire. I drove the 20 minute way home with movie off of SD card. No problems. Looks like its the real deal.
