cigga24
Find a line similar to this: ;time in navigatemap_800_480.ui file, and change color parameter to your liking. How do you know what color you're choosing, or is it all trial and error?
BorisM
These are standard RGB colors. You could use something like this chart: http://www.gotomy.com/color.html etc.
cigga24
do we change 'color' or 'color2'? I want an orange to go with my interior lights so i would choose #FF9933, which color spot would i put it in? For fonts can i basically type any font type thats in Word 2000? BorisM
OK... "color" is the color of the element itself. color2 is the color of the outline. You control size of the outline with glowsize parameter. There's also color3 parameter, but I'm not sure what it controls yet. You could, theoretically, use any TTF font, but remember that AVIC only comes with Tahoma and Tahoma Bold installed. If you want anything else you will need to copy them to iGO main directory... ttorski
great thanks!!! one more thing can you show me the line whre you change to show house numbers
BorisM
You're welcome! For house numbers, search navigatemap_800_480.ui for TEXT sprNMIActualStreetName I am using combined_textmodel to append house numbers to the street name. Please not that what iGO considers right house number is actually left and vice versa...
ttorski
Got it! I made few changes using "clean" data.zip 1. house numbers 2. took off from your line Turn Restriction sign - somehow was distracting me 3. change the clock colors black/white and made it bigger - front
BorisM
Cool. I think original clock size was 34. I made it around 40. I'll probably take it out -- there's a good enough clock on my dash, but for now at least it's reasonably colro matched Turn restrictions I made mostly "because I can" -- it's not really something you should be relying on when driving around. I might make it configurable next time I start working on the settings screen.
