Yes we can just ignore it but for those that have actually took time to read it is pretty frustrating. Crap like this drives the good people away. I have a pocketPC with NAV software and a similar warning pops up, but only when you launch the NAV program. So I'm sure it's part of the Nav Program itself. The F700 will work the same way. Notice that the warning only pops up when you want to navigate, at least it does on mine. What we need is a coder to dis-assemble the program, find the point the program calls that screen up and have them mod the code to think it's pressed already or bypass it. Clues of where the warning message is stored is in the first link. Normally I don't let this stuff get to me the way it did that day. When someone specifically said they searched and didn't find anything relevant, I blew my stack. I had just spent hours trying to get the trip computer to work and I see this worthless thread. I've lost much sleep trying to get the trip computer thingy working to SHARE with you guys. This will come up again and again. 'Cept on AVIC it is not embedded in the NAVI software (you can easily set iGO to not display any warnings) but in the shell itself. Navigation has been disassembled already, to work on map licenses, and the warning does not come from there. Link to post Share on other sites
