Question: Is it possible to update the Z2/Z3 (Z2 upgraded with Z3 HDD) firmware to the latest version (3.100400) without any issues?

I was able to update the gracenote db on my unit without a problem, but since there's an update out there (even though I don't need it) I wanted to apply it...

Yes, I understand that I don't "NEED" it... I just want it!

Royalh,

The ONLY fix in that firmware upgrade is to allow the Z3 to accept the gracenotes update. If your drive was upgraded by me or the download posted at this site, then you will already be able to install the gracenotes without the firmware update (as you already found out). It should not hurt anything to install it, but why take a chance...

If you really want to do an update, then upgrade to the 2009 maps and firmware, then you will get version 4.something....

I have been trying to download this disk image for a while now but the links are either dead or I am not getting a complete image. Is there anyone that can either point me in the direction of a good image, or would be willing to direct transfer it to me or my FTP server? Please let me know. Thanks!

Yeah, no one has seeded this torrent for almost a year now that we have the 2010 maps out:
