Cell/Home/Work labels in Contacts not showing up after 2.0?
Egz replied to Egz's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
No, but I can try to remove and re-pair it. I guess if that doesn't work, I might have to use that SQL program. Just wasn't sure if I was the only one this way. -
I've read on here that people have reported that the contacts now show a Cell/Home/Work label for each contact entry, so you know which number is which. However, on mine, its not working. I've even deleted the contact list and re-downloaded it, and still the same. (Phone is a Verizon LG VX9900, a first gen enV) Does this feature work for anyone else? If so, any other ideas why its not working? Thanks

Tracks STILL don't finish when reading from SD with v2.0!
Egz replied to Gas Is Expensive's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
What do you mean don't finish reading? As in going from one track to the next? Or when you shut down, and then start up again? -
Woah, I wasn't flaming you at all. You asked what RTFM was, and I explained what the acronym meant, followed by a winking smile because it is small internet humor. I then went on to say I wasn't aware of the option, but I only breezed through it, so I could have been wrong. So please relax some.

A slightly more polite way of saying "Read the freaking manual" However, I'm not aware of either of those options existing, and I did read it (okay, speed-read it)

Just to rule out the simple stuff, is your handbrake on? (assuming not bypassed)

Mine installed nicely. Made the unit even better. Was surprised it retained my background. I wonder if this will solve the random reboots as well.

I tried for fun, but nothing happened. I suspect most of the drivers are trimmed out.

From Pioneer link: Prays for better SD interface!

I'd love to do that. Right now, that USB cable is doing nothing.

No and no. All you can do is change folders, and set it to random or non-random.

Yea, its a shame they did it this way. I wish I knew about it ahead of time when I bought mine.

So I'm guessing the AVIC doesn't support RBDS over regular FM then?

Known Verizon Phones that work with the Avic f Series

Odd, mine are in catagories, and it doesn't seem to complain. I still need to edit the contacts on the AVIC so I know which icon is which number however. -

My enV works fine. Even the phonebook download worked. -
Exactly, I rather have easy to remove hex heads instead of some jerk destroying my dash to try to get it out.

I agree. I was disappointed to find out many of the features I was trying, like speed recognition, doesn't work on anything else, include SD. There are still people out there that don't own one.

Speed recognition = fail; Am I doing something wrong?
Egz replied to Egz's topic in Problems/Troubleshooting
Well that's a bummer. I guess its push-button for me then. Thanks. -

Is it just me, or is the speed recognition horrid? Its not the microphone, because based on responses from people I call, they say the sound quality is excellent (even my mom claims it sounds better than her C300) The only command I have had it successfully do is to change the music source. If I try any command on switching music, it just stares at me, and then lectures me like a child. I've tried all sorts of variants of play artist, play song, play album, play genre, and nothing. I usually keep all my songs in the root folder of a SD card. The ID3 tags are filled, and populate th -
From what I have read, some very nice work! Keep up the good work. Do you think in the future, after you get most of the stuff you want to tackle done, you could release an API to allow others to program other applications? (On a side note, does the 700 have an internal gyro or accelerometer? It would be neat to make a G-force output app for this)
