its fine if it says cd inserted, you need to go to settings and when you get to the background images, touch "load from cd"

pmason we ground both with the black ground of the deck and it worked. Everyone else. took 2 mins and the update worked. First shot. I am super happy now!!!!!! Time to play around with this deck.

just installed the Z2, just buttoning up the trim pieces. Will be updating in a few minutes and will get back to you all and see how it worked out.

I'll report back in a day or two. my avic z2 will be here today and will install it tomorrow.
