BorisM
Hi , can anyone tell me if i can backdate the version of igo8.32 so that the australian maps work . As i get an error saying that maps are out dated and there are no newer maps availabe for australia if so what version would recomend and how to thanx diggs You can't. This seems to mean that you are trying to use 8.0 maps with iGO 8.3. Try to find 8.3 maps for Australia, if they exist...
analon
Wow, I've done screwed up big time. I was curious on what would happen if I replace the iGo folder with the iGo8 patched folder. I made a back up of the iGo folder, renamed iGo8 to iGo, renamed LeetIGO8.exe to EZRIDER.EXE and place it in the APL2 folder. The system started IGO 8 and seem to be loading fine, but stopped at the menu. No harm done (I thought) as I had the backup iGo folder. I placed it back and the system started up fine, but now I no longer get a satellite signal. I have done a search for a hard reset but no go. Any Ideas anyone? Let your car sit outside for a while to pick up the gps again. I dont think there is anything wrong with your GPS, it probably lost its pinpoint location to the satellites. Thanks for you help Leetcoder, I had it outside on for the past hour but no go. The funny thing is your launcher with Igo8 picks up the signal just fine. I have a backup of the whole Flash disk an am now debating if I should just delete it and replace it with the original. UPDATE: Redeleted the iGo file and put a fresh backup of the original iGo file in its place and its working now. Were you able to successfully test replacing the Pioneer IGo with Igo8 ? crilleym
I just got my F500BT 2 days back and was super dissappointed with the mapping software(old maps, too many key presses to get to "route list", no easy access to gps signal quality, no ability to set heading up instaed of north up) Leetlauncher later, I now have IGo 8 working fine and am very pleased with my purchase. How did you get all of the Pioneer functions to work with IGo?

How did you get all of the Pioneer functions to work with IGo? Using LeetLauncher, I have got IGo8 running (works just fine as a standalone navigation only function) and as described in the first post using the Menu-Down been able to launch the pioneer interface to start music from SD card. There are however issues and these 2 do not play very nice with each other (some issues navigating back and forth, and some sound level problems) Hence, I am wondering if anyone has been able to successfully replace the Pioneer Igo on the flash disk with Igo8, since I assume that would allow much better coordination between the navi functions and music/bluetooth functions. I have done so (but with iGo 8.0, not 8.3) and am nearly finished. Bluetooth keeps working but the "Playing Now"-Bar disappeared during the merging. Does anybody know what code in the ui-Files gets the Pioneer-Launcher to show the "Playing Now"-Bar?

AFAIK it's overlayed by the AVIC shell, not coming from iGO proper
118d
Updated iGo to 8.3.2 (with speedcam and kikker skin) and TomTom to 7.9.Also for those that have F500BT, try out the fix and tell me if it work. SEE POST 1. Hello Leetcoder, I tested LeetLauncher 2.0.5 with iGo 8.3 on my European F500BT and it works perfect with sound. Great job! Is it possible to run iGO 8.3 (autorun) without the Leetlauncher menu and without the possibility to return to the LeetLauncher menu (button down disabled)? I would like to use my F500BT as a stand-alone iGO 8.3 or TomTom navigation unit just by inserting the appropriate 2 GB SD card with eiter iGO 8.3 or TomTom on it. I don't care for the other options such as testmode or the audio function of the F500BT. I noticed that iGO 8.3 and the original Pioneer navigation software share the same settings. If I change settings like color schemes in iGO 8.3 it changes the color schemes for Pioneer as well. Is it possible to have different settings for both? Thank you for your efforts. I realy appreciate it. i tried the new leetlauncher but i get an error on startup igo fatal error :initialization error:Loadlanguage failed ! i tried this now on diferent ways and i cant load igo , how dit you get your F500BT working ? i tried the origenal maps of avic on the leetlauncher like i did it whit te previous 2.0 also put 8.3 maps on it , it doesnt work it starts up en hung more than 30min it just give no reaction at all ! i even have tried to dellete the warning message , but it makes no diference ! i even tried without maps but i got the same error ! do i have to chance somthing in the files ? can someone tell me wahts wrong ? Do you know what gets the AVIC shell to show this overlay?

All I did was un-zip Leetlauncher to a 2 GB SD card, rename the file leetlauncher_ui_f500.xml to leetlauncher_ui.xml and put iGO8.3 maps, dem and poi files in the iGO8 content directory and the licence file in the iGO8 licence directory, just like it is explained in the first post by Leetcoder. The first time I started iGO it took about 5 minutes to start. I managed to auto-run iGO8 on my F500BT. I un-zipped the original testmode folders to a 2 GB SD card, copied all the iGO files to the testmode directory, deleted CopyTool.exe and renamed Igo.exe to CopyTool.exe. When I turn my F500BT on with this SD card inserted it automaticly starts iGO8.3. I did the same with TomTom on another SD card and that works as well. Too bad TomTom doesn't remember the route when the F500BT is turned off and on again. When you stop during a trip you have to type your destination again.

To use iGO8.0 maps (iGO8.3 maps don't work) with the Pioneer software you have to replace EZRIDER.EXE with the hacked EZRIDER.EXE (can be found on this forum) and copy the right licence file(s) to the license directory of the flash memory of your F500BT. Original data.zip can be found in the firmware file on the Pioneer site.

b16a2
Hi Guys, I just got an F700BT with the 2.0 firmware and I have downloaded the current Leetloader, and also the Tomtom 720.1803 maps. I have been trying to activate the maps. I get the Device ID from ttnavigator.bif, and type it into the commandline "utility" to generate the meta.dct file using: tt7keygen "C:\tt7-stuff" "XXXXXXXXXX". I copy both the .meta and the meta.dct file it generates into the folder with the maps on the card (overwriting the .meta file), and try it out in the F700. When I open TomTom, it trys changing maps to North America, however it says the activation is not correct. I have also tried the 7.25.1905 maps with the same attempt to use the device ID to set it properly, and had no luck either. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong? Does anyone have a combination package of the TomTom software, and the appropriately registered maps along with it that I could try out without having to play with the command line activation? If people arent comfortable posting on here, I would appreciate a PM. Thanks, and your help is greatly appreciated!
