Its still off even with the changes....not a big deal to me, I do it in my head based on the milage display and my speed... -
It records them faster than it plays back..i.e your listening to track one and its already recording track 2. If you shut off the car in the middle it knows where it was and just pick back up....

If you don't have a backup camera there isn't really any point in hooking up the reverse wire.

As far as connecting the wires, solder is best, but if thats not practical, crimp on butt connectors would be a lot better than wire nuts lol

Just got it, hasn't saved me yet, and not sure it will becuase my route to work doesn't leave a lot of room for variaton (Have to go from VA to MD over the Wilson Bridge) that well, but its deffinatly cool to see on the map.

E-brake should have no effect on the cd audio...

I think the audio will play w/o bypass...just loop it to reverse input, have the reverse cam image up and it in DVD mode...

Probably have to by a video switcher, hook the multiple cameras to it then hook its output up to the D3...

Did you check and make sure the antenna is pluged in the back? Also check that youd didn't pull a connection on the coax loose, I know on most fords (not sure about other makes) there is another joint in the antenna lead around the glovebox that can come loose sometimes if you are pulling on the cable trying to get it hooked up to the back of the head unit....

Called today to acctivate the xm...used XMSCION03...they said it was only good for 3 mo free service, not $77 a year, told me to call the dealer back (Told them scion dealer gave me the code) and get the correct code for the 77/year deal...I said ok and then called back about 20mins later and told them the dealer said that was the correct code and she went ahead and gave me the $77/year deal, I couldn't talk them into giving me navtraffic for free for 3 months and paying for 9 so all together it was 124.88 for a year of XM and Navtraffic...not too bad. When I look at my account it says I have
