1. well i just bought a d3 so its too late now.
2. you should be able to find it on here, i was just exploring the other day and found it but im too lazy to dig it up again.
3. if you have a mute sire, all yo do is need to put a switch on it and ground it. When the switch is open, music plays, when its close, mute kicks in.
4. Wish i would have known that becuase I almost got a good deal on a z2.
5. Tested palm treo 750 with WM6 and works.
6. I have a friend with the z3 in a scion and his required an adapter to port the steering wheel controls over, and also required an ipod cord. Im not sure if the z3 needs an adapter for aux becuase the d3 has aux rcas in the back. And yes, it will fit the car.
7. ive only been to london once, but it seems that their are cameras on every corner!
8. No it really wasnt and the avic even has extended warranty at best buy.
9. Yep, theres a blue wire for remote turn on of the amp, and then rca outs for the sub. Be sure to run the power and rca/remote lines on opposite sides of the truck to avoid static in the rca lines.
10. My unit was manufactured in february and I just did the bypass on it with no issues. Well, I had one issue but It was because the pin that goes in the harness for the mute wire wouldnt stay, so I soldered it in.
11. http://www.avic411.com/forum/viewtopic. ... b63b0b2faa try that
12. Easiest way, in my opinion, is to sync your iPod with your phone book entries and do it that way.
13. Glad I havent had this issue but i dont think its common place in a d3
14. I bought my avic d3 with 12 disk, ipod, blue tooth, xm traffic, and usb adapter for 800.
15. Ive seen a few of such plugs out there, give google a shot.
16. It may have to do with the whole jpg-pim errors. Might try making something from scratch?
17. I assume the gauges are just a temporary wallpaper when you run them, as the needles are within the gui. I haven't done such research yet as i just got my D3 the other day, but i will have it decompiled and figured out when I get a chance to sit down with it.
18. Iso is actually a compression format like zip or rar, but it is a compression used to make a virtual image of a disk. As to your problem, are you adding the files before you burn the disk? You must finalize everything before you burn the new disk.
19. Be sure you have a solid ground and if you done the bypass, check all your connections. If the system detects a improperly grounded parking brake wire, it perminantly (or atleast mine did) locks the touch screen until the wire is fixed but it will only notify you once. When i tried resetting mine, it would immediately pop up with the error again but i assume since yours is password protected, it pops up with that first rather than the error.
20. Make sure you give the iPod time to recalculate the "gapless playback info" after adding songs and syncing. That could be one issue.
21. You should be able to... which sirius unit do you have?
22. You shouldnt have an issue with the pioneer bluetooth on the d2, but for the aftermarket bluetooth you have to have an available mute wire. I am not sure if your d2 uses the mute wire in a bypass, but you need it.
