The radio goes into standby mode when you turn the car off. It doesn't show a start up screen when resuming from stand by, only on a reboot. The reboots take a while, so it's good this unit goes into standby.

Does the software update add a clock to the audio menus or is it still only available on the map screen?

When the antenna wire is hooked up properly the signal is no better than when nothing is hooked up. However, if I tape over the antenna wire's ground with electrical tape, so only the center rod makes contact with the radio, it gets good reception. Why??? The car is an 05 Civic with an internal window antenna.

Would anyone be willing to host or create a torrent of the SD card? I know that there is already a hack for the z110 and I believe that it uses the same map software. If I can get my hands on the contents of the SD card I will try my hardest to get it working for everyone.

Does anyone know if the map update crack for the z110 will work with the u310? It seems like the use the same software so it may be possible. I know I'm not the only one here who thought we got ripped with not POIs. If someone would be nice enough to make a torrent or host the contents of the new 2010 SD card I will try to experiment to see if I can get it working.

Your battery should be fine.

If you got a US unit you wouldn't be able to listen to the radio as the frequencies are different.

I heard that the GEX-P910XM will work with the F series but I don't know about this model. I'd actually like to know this myself as I just purchased this unit for my fiance and want to replace her XM and want to replace her aftermarket external one.

When are the 2010 maps coming out?

Didn't work for me with the unofficial update. Probably because it thinks the head unit is an X series now. Not a problem, I just copied the files manually, installed hacked ezrider.exe (so I can use my 2009 maps) and Diaftas mod and it seems to be working ok. One thing I noticed though was this upgrade seems to have a newer version of wince on it. How do I upgrade wince?

No, I don't think it will work. You need to update to the latest version of WinCE to use 3.0.

I am having a strange issue with the latest version. Occasionally when the unit turns on it shows the loading screen (like it normally does), the XM screen appears then it flashes back to the booting screen for a second or two and the screen goes blank. Usually, if I wait long enough the destination menu of the gps shows up, except it shows an MSN Direct button (I have the version w/o MSN). If I click the screen it selects something on the XM screen. At this point, either I can just press the back button and everything is ok, other times it stays on the XM screen with the top bar missing a

Has the call button for POI's been fixed?

I had enough room by just deleting Puerto Rico and Mexico.

Technically, POI needs to have a phoine number defined, and phone needs to be connected. I'll check if it is working, though. I am having the same problem. The call button doesn't work for me either, even though bluetooth is connected and a phone number is present.

Has anyone else had problems getting the Call button to work on POIs? It is grayed out for me, even though my phone has been connected via bluetooth. I was trying to call ahead at a restaurant we were going to to put our name on the list and it didn't work.

Ok, well my unit just crashed. I don't know if this was mod was the cause though.
