Pioneer has just announced a new series of navigation units, the AVIC F series! They will be released in June.

Available as a hybrid (indash and portable) or as a indash only.

Models:
AVIC-F500BT (aka LINC) Hybrid Unit
AVIC-F700BT (CD Playback)
AVIC-F900BT (DVD Playback with MSN Direct)

Features:
Incredible new high res interface
All flash based (no nav dvd or cd)
All F series have integrated Bluetooth that auto pulls all contacts from the phone, iPhone included, I tested it.
SD Card slot for music/videos
USB connection for iPod/iPhone (videos work too)
Voice Command and Text to speech thanks to VoiceBox Technologies (similar to Microsoft Sync)
MSN Direct for gas prices/traffic/movie times/weather (only on F900)
Much better mapping, including 3D maps.
Many more little features

Looks pretty solid. Wish they could've put that interface in the Z series. Actually, all I want is a usable iPod system. Too bad I'm not willing to shell out another few thousand to get it

Ok i am NOW on the fence. I was with in a week of buying a z2 but now i dont know if i should hold off and get the F900BT.

You being one of the few to see it.... feel it..... sensual play with the buttons..... what would you do get the z and never look back or wait for the F

The ONLY reason I can think of to get the Z2 would be the vehicle dynamics display. If you don't care about that, go for the F Series.

WOW... Just wow. Looks like I'm going to have a DNX5120 for sale soon.

Also, I hope they improved the POI searches. Hopefully now it will sort them by direction and distance, and find them more than 5mi out. Either way, that voice control looks sick.
