CXL99
I was thinking I was going to be making 5 or 10 when I first posted this. So far I have made about 60! I'm going to focus my "marketing" on the women who want their knobs modded. Thanks for the nice feedback. Tom you better not post again till you tell me how much for and when to expect my black knob jerk Am I missing something???? Why are you calling me a jerk? I don't think so . . . I think we might be seeing some classic knob size and feel jealousy here. He knows he want's a larger knob and a better feel to it, but is not able to have one. Maybe it's just a call for help. kmbrun57
Tom, Please hurry and make a special black knob for "her" and taper it at both ends. Thanks!
Rob
Making colors shouldn't be that hard, just mill blocks of Aluminum instead of the Stainless and send them off to get anodized. materials and tooling should be cheaper on the Aluminum too, the price of Anodizing would off set it though. AZFlyingDiver
Hey Tom, I got the new knob today - installed flawlessly in about a minute. I also appreciate your professionalism in how you packaged and provided instructions. So I go to pick up a lady friend. She reaches over to adjust the volume down (probably so she can say something that I won't pay attention to): She (puzzled): "Oh, your knob feels different..." Me (bemused): "Really?" She: "Yeah, it seems bigger - did you do something to it? It feels better..." Me (distracted by traffic) She (smiling demurely): "Can I play with it?" Me (trying not to laugh): "Sure, go ahead..." Needless to say, your knob is a hit. Thanks!
AZFlyingDiver
does this knob interfere with functionality? can I still move the knob in all directions for stuff like track skipping? My 2 cents: Knob works perfectly for all functions - better, even...

Thanks for the kind words. (I'm still laughing!!!)

achi10
Nice! This forum freakin' rocks!!! Anyway, is there a way to make the sides have some kind of "grip". You know, the one you can find on most stock radios. That would be sweet.

(Just don't try this at home, we are professionals) Tom
achi10
Oh, yeah, I bet, the stock one is terrible. I just like having the extra grip with a little less knob.
RocketJohn
I forgot to reply and tell you how awesome the knob is! Thanks! Well done!

LOL sorry couldn't help myself is should be punished.
