  1. A tv tuner is the only route.
  2. you are putting the nav disc in the lower slot right? If not, then HOLD the open button for at least 2 seconds then let go. The face should drop all the way horizontal exposing the dvd slot.
  3. pac swips should do the rear controls. As for the factory 6 disc changer you're beat on that one. Only works with the stock deck.
  4. vss and reverse are availible in that intreface you got.

  6. dash-kit 95-8202 harness 70-1761 VSS is purple at the radio harness and reverse is red at the fuseboix.
  7. antenna adaptor is a 40-cr10
  8. if your avic isn't bypassed then you'll have to set the parking brake to adjust the time.
  9. pbus cable going to the sirius tuner is in the wrong port.
  10. The only thing I can suggest would be to take a trip to a couple of places and play with the radios on display see what she likes and go from there.

  17. it's not absolutely needed. Try it out. If the navi seems accurate then don't bother getting the pulse gen. If you have issues with the navi then pick one up.

  19. That's because there is no accessory in your car. You'll have to dissconect the red wire of the avic and run it to an a ignition source. Be it at the fuse box or at the ignition harness itself.
  20. if you're on a route and the map info that stored in the memory doesn't have the info the system needs then yes it will ask you to insert the map d9sc. If you're not on a current route then the map will just zoom out.

  23. yes they are in fact the only difference between the d1 and d2 is the map software they come with and the silkscreen on the radio face.
  24. that would be correct the 08 f150 no longer has a vss wire in the radio harness. A 5521 will give you all of the wiring you need from the audiocrackhead system in those trucks.
