I got the winCE update to work but after moving over the APL folder the system would just stay at the splash screen. After replacing with the old APL folder everything was working again. Addicted Posted July 17, 2009 Report Share Posted July 17, 2009 Hi. I'm a long time lurker. Finally got something meaningful to pass along. I did the WINCE upgrade today. Two problems that irritated me the most were 1) Slow key response - which was alleviated by renaming some wav files, and 2) VBR MP3 song ends abruptly before the end of the song. The WINCE upgrade fixed both of these problems. Now, key response is quick. Scrolling is quick. VBR MP3 songs on the SD card are playing normally. I haven't tried using the USB drive or playing videos, yet. I guess Pioneer wasn't the problem here. I should have known better that it was Micro$oft. I own an AVIC F700BT. PS. For the guy having problem run testmode v2.3, make sure to copy the folder "testmode" onto the root of your SD card. I ran into the problem when I just copied the contents of the folder. While we do need both patched iGO and license file for new maps to work, this one does absolutely nothing for us because it's regular iGO, not EzRider. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
