You have to keep hitting retry it will eventually complete the install. Most of us on here that have done the update had the same problem. Keep hitting retry until it says complete.

also check the bottom of the unit my id was on the bottom of the unit near the serial code.

When you touch the screen look for the menu on the right side of the screen there should be an icon to add it to the adress book.

What I did was when I was at a intersection where there was a red light camera I touch the screen at that intersection and then you will get the little red circle and on the right side of the screen you will see a menu there you can add it to your adress book and I put the icon of a camera and the sound of a camera from the options you get. So now when I get near that intersection I will here the sound of the camera as a reminder.

I tried to do the unlock and it says unable to unlock drive after I have already paid for it.

Okay I have bee trying to figure this out for two days now..Someone please help me. I have my drive hooked up to my computer and the unlock software will not unlock it. The magic boot will run but if I enter y to turn off the security it will run the checksum then gives me and device error. if I enter n for the security it will run the checksum then done. Also afte the eid prompt it give the drive info but it says my smart is disabled and my security high is on instead of enabled and off as was stated in the write up given in the post. I need help bad as I said before the drive has been out f

I had to hook mine up to a swticher in order to get the T.V. to show up on the rear.

On my z-1 I used 1000 x 480 and it worked fine.

I brought it and got it in two days and installed it the same day with no problems. Even though it's not much cheaper I brought it just because I didn't want to take the chance on removing my drive and messing something up.

If you upgrade your z1 by either buying the upgrade disc or unlocking and using the z2 image you will be able to change the splash screen.

I have the 8703e and I was having the same problem until I put my bluetooth options in discoverable mode. Now I have no problem with mine connecting every time I get in it connect's. Hope this helps.

On my Z1 the system does not have to fully boot for the camera to work. By the way the install looks great.
