  1. 140 is 2012 model, with 2012 maps. they have not yet released the US 2013 map update. When it does, it will be for 140
  2. you can get the NDATA image from one of the EU updates. simply concatenate all of the NDATA.XXX files in sequence into a single NDATA.img (i think you can use a join/split tool - maybe hjsplit? I use "cat" on mac) this will have a disk image. (Cant recall which windows tool to open this image, but it just opens on mac). inside this will be the NDATA folder and files that get installed on the unit.
  3. birdman, you apparently did not read my post to crazymike, right before yours
  4. seahorse, share a copy of the VERINFO.DAT and CARDINFO.CIF. You want to install this AU update on your EU F3210BT, correct?
  5. u can disassemble in pro version of IDA, but sorry - no emulators that i know of
  6. if you are messing with renewiflib.dll, then you are doing it the HardWay. Try the super easy method: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/35230-2012-uscan-maps-cnsd-310fmuc-upgrade-updated-to-supereasymethod-beta
  7. try this one out: developer aka super- tesmode for x50 series: testmode-super-x50.zip
  8. That is the digital hd tuner switching between analog and digital radio signal in area of poor coverage.
  9. f950/x950/f50/z150/x850/f850 are all new, similar models, have a different hardware platform (now sh4 cpu - no longer arm cpu) and have a new testmode. testmode-x50v2.zip I dont have an x50 series hw to test on, so if we need to remove the nag screen, I will need someones help to do some detailed log collection..
  10. Yes, likely will be a 2013 maps update for these units. I think EU update has been released, but US release usually comes later (like aug/sep)
  11. basically same procedure, but different testmode.key file for x950,x850,z150,etc http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/37025-how-to-retrieve-your-avic-x850bts-forgotten-password/ and remember, you only really need the proper testmode.key file on an sd card to get the unit to boot into testmode
  12. Step 2 and 3 are totally unnecessary. Testmode is built into the unit. You only need the right testmode.key on an ad card to get a unit into testmode. Also this should be same procedure for 950 and 150
  13. Step 2 and 3 are totally unnecessary. Testmode is built into the unit. You only need the right testmode.key on an ad card to get a unit into testmode. Also this should be same procedure for 950 and 150
  14. X930bt and x9310bt are same hardware
  15. Sounds like touchscreen digitizer needs to be replaced, the part is less than 50 but it not a DIY task if you don't have experience with these units. Was there any static electricity zap with it?
  16. Pull the radio fuse for 10 mins or so to give it a full power off reset. If that doesn't fix it, off to service
  17. What did you use to clean it and how hard did you press down on it? You can try running a calibration but it sounds like you may have damaged the touchscreen digitizer
  18. for that matter, even F920BT upgraded to 2012 software should work.
  19. I dont think anyone has shared latest 2013 EU update yet. When they do I can provide a fixed VERINFO.DAT for upgrading.
  20. short answer: no - x50 series is different hardware from previous versions long answer: http://avic411.com/index.php?/topic/36715-update-140bh-with-150bh-firmware/
  21. No. They are different hardware platforms. <= x40 == ARM cpu x50 == SH4 cpu
  22. your bluetooth hardware could have died. - try to cycle the bluetooth on/off a few times. If you dont see a version number, then the bluetooth hw isnt responding properly. - You can try a full power-off of your unit (disconnect radio fuse or battery cable negative lead) for at least 5 minutes. If that does not work, and you did not recently do anything to the unit (like attempt upgrade, etc), then likely your BT HW is toast - time for pioneer service.
