ill.die.trying
sorry...the start icons like, the destination/contacts/av source buttons. and in the sys.txt, what do the factory settings read so i can go back to where it was (what in the sys.txt file do i need to change and what do i change it to?) Can i just copy the section of the 3d zoom from the backup copy of my flash drive? for the main menu icons, you have to find a stock image.res file, for the sys.txt, you have to find a default sys.txt for you to be able to find this info you have to search the forum

fauxfive55
Howdy folks, First off, thank you for creating this all in one package. I'm a recent owner of an Avic f90bt and purchased it because of how easily modified it is, among other reasons. I installed the AIO the other day and so far, I've been having a blast using all the tweaks. The one thing that I'd like to change is some of the custom sounds. Specifically, the reroute voice prompt where it says something about making a suggestion and I'd just ignore it. That one drives me nuts. Is there an easy way to revert back to the default sound files (i have a backup flash disk of the original software) or keep the improved samples, but with a more serious tone? Pretty much, I just want to get rid of the "humorous" voice samples. Thanks in advance.

woody17
thanks! appreciate the help! you dont have to answer this...but what is that other code written for in the sys.txt? anything important (other than zooming specs, the red car in the 2d mode and the smaller arrows?) specifically...the thing that says "enable poi's?" cmh928
I would suggest just commenting out or removing the "defaulttilt3D" line and leaving the rest. You can make this mod to the sys.txt in my AIO under the mitacap\apl2\igo\ folder as well as moving a stock image.res into the mitacap\apl\ folder. Then when you insert the SD card again, it will load the changes for you. For the user complaining about Alan Rickman's voice, the AIO's I uploaded the other day do not use that version and neither do the new Data&Voice only files. I would suggest grabbing a newer copy than the one you downloaded as there are a ton of other tweaks included as well.
69sixpackbee
Man!! You made quite a few tweaks to the SYS.txt! What will this addition do: show_lane_info=1 I'll have to try it in my current one! Thanx, Bud
cmh928
No.. THIS is a long sys.txt https://www.naviextras.com/shop/mvnforu ... post=19861 Lane info controls the small arrows that show up when approaching a multi-lane split on the highway. This data has to be in the maps, though.
69sixpackbee
So then the code in the sys.txt just resides until you work out the details of the lane info coding? Thanx, Bud
BorisM
So then the code in the sys.txt just resides until you work out the details of the lane info coding?Thanx, Bud But doesn't AVIC show lane info stock anyway? It's one of the selling points for it As for the enable_pois this doesn't apply to us, it is for being able to use older format POI files on PDA versions of iGO... I saw the POI's commented out so that is a given and I **thought** the lane info showed up already but I have not had a chance to see it in action since I have not traveled into an area that has these yet. As rule I stay the "F" away from Los Angeles as it it too much of a cluster-f and I do not have a .50cal. bolted to the front of my truck yet
