minifreezer
Eurotuner29 you should really calm down. To all the people requesting me to upload the file (publicly or by pm) : 2 reasons i'm not providing it : 1) The friend who brang it to me took it back with him 2) There is no problem hacking with mods a unit we bought...we can forget about the warranty, but it's our problem. HERE it's something different. It's a major firmware update provided by Pioneer and it's gonna be SOLD by Pioneer. Releasing it for free online is a responsability and a crime i don't wanna mess with. Even though I understand and agree that Pioneer should give it for free after the really bad unit we had for months, they did not. With just a few days of patience, if you don't wanna pay for it, i'm sure someone will upload it , but that won't be me. Well said! I understand completely where you're coming from and would do the exact same thing! Thank you for uploading your video and sharing your experiences with it so we may have some insight as to what it will be like. Agreed and completly understand

mtulbert
I called Pioneer right after I saw the link on their site and got this very nice service rep who told me that she would check this out. I finally heard back from her today. here is the quote The introduction price (limited quantities) is $60.00. We should be receiving these sometime in July (could be August), a specific date has not been released yet. I am going to call tomorrow and order it for sure.
bloodninja
...a specific date has notbeen released yet. I am going to call tomorrow and order it for sure. What? If the date of release doesn't exist, how do you plan on ordering it?
mtulbert
She said I could place an order for it. So I am assuming that I will get on line for it and when it shows up they will charge my card and ship the update. Regards, Mark

ckelly33
Just got off the phone w pioneer. I called to order the $60 3.0 w/maps. Apparently, there is a free 3.0 upgrade because when she didn't ask for a cc#, I asked her if she wanted it, she said it was free. I told her I wanted the $60 maps/3.0 update. She did some checking and said it was $130 and no other pricing is available. I told her a 'friend' had gotten the information yesterday about the $60 pricing (see previous post) and she asked for the rep named that told him that. A little conflicting information. Anyone get the $60 price??
MattsSS
I called to see if I could order, and could not. According to who I spoke to (USA) they can not order it yet as it is not available, and the only info they have on it shows the $130 pricing.
ckelly33
JasonH - any word from your source?
MattsSS
I'm not too worried about prodding people before it's available. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out on the one day you could order it for free from Pioneer or something!
ckelly33
From Pioneer: Thank you for contacting Pioneer Electronics, Inc. Here is the link on our web site for the CNSD-100FM. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/ ... CNSD-100FM I see no mention of the $60 price. I'm not clear where your friend has received his info. or who is offering this price. At this time there are also no pre-orders with Pioneer. Perhaps a retailer has made this offer. mtulbert
Just got off the phone with Pioneer and got the update ordered for 60 or 65. Don't remember which. Apparently there is some code that they have to find to give you that price. Corina is the lady I spoke to at Pioneer and told me about the introductory price. When I went to order it at first I was told that the price was 130 and I told the rep about the price I was quoted and she had me wait a minute or two while she confirmed it. Came back and did indeed confirm the discounted price. Product Description Ordered Qty Price Shipping Status Qty Tracking Number CNSD-100FM MAP update- AVIC-F90BT,-F900BT,-F700BT 1 $60.00 Awaiting shipment 1 Net Subtotal $60.00 Shipping $5.00 Taxes $4.95 Total Price: $69.95 There is the copy of the order for you. Hope this helps M
