Yep, got your payment, you were the last one I had in stock. I had a few in stock, and they were all ordered and paid for overnight except for one and you got it. Good timing.

As for the bike thing, in my "stable" I have:

2001 Ducati 996 (yellow biposto with termi CF pipes),
2003 Ninja ZX12R (Akro Pipe, PC3, Filter, 179HP dynoed at the wheel, that pic is before the work I did)
1998 Yamaha V-Max (All new suspension, and Mark's pipes)
And a Polaris Sportsman 800
I love the fast bikes! You can never have enough toys.[/quote]

Sweet, so much for the inventory that you "thought" might last a few days......sounds like business is booming.

I agree, you can never have enough toys....while my "stable" is not as stocked as yours, I have:
2007 Ford Explorer Sport-Trac (on order)
2003 Infinit G35
1998 Torch Red C5 Corvette
2002 Honda 400EX
2005 CBR1000RR

Take care and be safe!

One question before I order. I see that you say that your lights don't flicker, in fact, the CAR doesn't even see the unit installed, however, I also read in your explanation about the duty cycle that it turns on your lights for 1/3000 of a second, promting this question...

Does it actually send a .3 milisecond pulse to the lights or not? I have HID headlights and I see this as wreaking HAVOC on those ballasts, as well as the electrical system in the car seeing that the inital current draw for an HID ballast is EXTREMELY high.

If what I understand is true, and the unit is actually transparent to the car's headlight system, then let me know if you have one in stock, and I'll send the paypal post haste!

Thanks man... you are doing us responsible adults a GREAT service.
Hats off, dude...

Your lights do not flicker. The car will never know it's installed. I'm sure I mentioned something in my duty cycle discussion, but I didn't go back and re-read it and I don't remember what I wrote, but either I mistyped or you misunderstood. I probably wasn't clear enough. In the duty cycle thread your car might be pulsing your interior lights (not your headlights) like that. Your car does this to dim the lights (12V for 1/100 of a second, ground for 1/100 of a second and it does it so fast you won't notice the flicker but the interior bulbs will be dim). I do not do this to anything, but I can sense such a signal which "might" be put out by your car and work off of that if need be. Normally you want to tap off the "ill" wire which is 12V with the lights on and nothing with the lights off, but some cars might have a "signal" like described above for interior lights to allow them to "dim" and I tried to make my circuit smart enough to work off both (in order to make it work better in all sorts of vehicles).

Yah, IF I did something like that it would be bad, but I don't. My circuit is totally benign to your car, your car won't even know it's there. It can send flashes to your head unit at about 1/2 second or so at best. But it does absolutely nothing to your car (unless you hook it up totally wrong).

Yep totally transparent to the car's headlight system. It will NOT do anything or interfere with your headlights in any way. I do have some in stock, but as the post in the sticky says, I have a family thing going on tonight and tomorrow and won't be able to get one in the mail till Monday. Best I can do at this time. Sorry.

Well, this is just a discussion thread, so just as a FYI, I have now have my first employee. And no I don't pay benefits... no dental either. Actually just a co-worker, one of the techs at my office said he could use the money so he is going to help me pump these out. Right now I'm running real close to running out of stock and he has all the rest of the parts I need to build them. Hopefully he will be as fast as he says he will be and I won't get into another back order situation. But this coming week might get a little slow with the shipping turn around. Sorry for this if it inconvienences anyone. Growing pains. :)

No worries, I sent my payment already but my Z1 does not arrive until next week. From the positive feedback I've read on this thread, this should be an excellent addition to my setup. Thanks again for all the work.

I don't have a payment from someone referring to themselves as "bongus" but every order that was placed is shipped. But knowing the order frequencey, come Monday or Tuesday I believe I will have orders I can't fill until my new employee ends up finishing them. I have more parts coming in on thursday. This coming week of orders might not get filled as quickly as I would like, they might take a few days to ship out.

Hey Ducatiboy,

I do not have a paypal account but my friend does! He actually already sent his payment through paypal on friday afternoon for one of your awsome units! He sent it from"dannythresh" account! Did you get it and is everything ok! I have my z1 and i am just waiting for this item to do my install! real anxious to install. At the time he ordered we noticed you did have stock! When should i expect you ship my unit? And from your experience how long of a delivery when shipping to canada?

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Yep, I emailed the owner of the paypal account saying it shipped this morning. Going to Canada. I labeled the package "Contents: Circuit Prototype No Comercial Value". I hope that helps it go through customs.

sorry about that, the guest above was me! actually i'm surprised guests can post and write messages? it should not let you post unless you are a member! maybe only view! Oh well!

So as i mentioned above i was just curious as to what shipping company you used? My wife is a (CCS) Certified Customs Specialist for FedEx! Have you shipped these units to canada before?

Just talked to my wife! ANd it seems if we're really lucky it will go through! But it seems that all shipments "need" a declared value! So for the future orders this might help you get orders through easier! She told me you could still describe it like you did but you must put the contents declared value. Example: Value amount is what it would cost to replace the unit (15$) or even ($5). Doesn't matter if it really costs 2 dollars, it would actually be safer to use an amount like 15 dollars. But nothing over 20 canadian dollars to avoid taxes at customs (it will be considered a non comercial shipment). Just trying to help! I'll cross my fingers and hope it gets through anyhow!

Talk to you later!
